How Bad Is It?
Pick your tier honestly. No judgment — but no shortcuts either: each one starts with what to say, not what to buy.
- Three tiersMinor, medium, major. Every one of them opens with the sentence to say, not a thing to send.
- The date trackerThe dates you will be asked about, entered before anybody asks you about them.
- Free, and actually freeTier 1 in full, and one saved date, without a card.
Tier 1 — Minor
I forgot to text back / seemed distracted tonight
“They’re a bit quiet. I wasn’t fully present.”
Say it out loud first. “I was somewhere else tonight and I noticed” does almost all the work at this size. Catching it yourself is the part that lands.
Then, if you want
Tier 2 — Medium
I forgot our anniversary / a significant moment
“They know I forgot. This needs real action.”
Own it before you send anything. “I forgot, it mattered to you, and that’s on me” — no excuse after it, no “but”. Then say what you’ll do so it doesn’t happen again, and put it in your calendar while they watch.
Then, to back it up
Tier 3 — Major
I really blew it. A serious mistake.
“I hurt someone I love. This is going to take a while.”
Nothing on this page fixes this, and anything that arrives instead of a conversation will make it worse. What repairs it is an apology with no defence in it, a change they can actually see, and the patience to let trust come back on their timing rather than yours. Use what’s below to support that — never to skip it.
